Our foundation was founded by Shenita Parham with the aim of providing assistance to seniors aged 80 and older in Michigan who struggle to pay their medical and prescription bills. We believe that our seniors deserve the relief they need, and we are committed to making their lives easier.

We understand the challenges that seniors face, and we want to make a difference. Our foundation relies on the generosity of donors and volunteers to provide much-needed support to our seniors.

Fourscore Foundation was inspired by my dear grandmother Aritilery White (pictured above). My grandmother raised me from when I was three months old after my mom went back to work; she took very good care of me:

• She made sure I got up for school
• She walked me to school every morning
• She called me in the house when the street lights came on
• She was a grandmother who corrected, but it was out of love!

My beliefs and values are instilled in me because of my grandmother and the love she had for me. She passed away on December 19th, 2003, at the age of 89 years old. It was just 6 days before Christmas; her favorite holiday. I was 23 years old when she passed away.     

Being around my grandmother my whole life helped me to have an old soul. I am an elderly person trapped in a young person’s body! I love being around seniors. I love going over to their houses and sitting around talking with them.They have so much wisdom, and they lift my spirit with their conversations and warm hands.
